DIAGNOSIS AND SANITISATION OF CROPS UNDER COVERS.

Ongoing R&D projects

Development of an innovative system for rapid diagnostics and microbiological sanitisation of the production environment in cover crops (FENG.01.01-IP.02-1640/23)

Project implemented by BACTO - TECH’ sp. z o.o. as sole beneficiary.

Implementation period: 2024-2026

Total value of the project: 2 633 694,40 PLN

Project co-funded by The European Funds for Smart Economy 2021–2027 (FENG), amount of funding: 1 704 282,68 PLN

The subject of the project is the creation of an innovative system for rapid diagnosis of phytopathogens and preparations for microbiological sanitisation of the production environment in cover crops. The project will result in the creation of 2 rapid tests for diagnosing the presence of fungal and bacterial phytopathogens in cover crops. In addition, two biopreparations will be developed: a preparation containing microorganisms antagonistic to fungal and bacterial phytopathogens for sanitising substrates and environment of crops under covers, and a preparation containing microorganisms limiting the occurrence of insect pests.

Development of precision, functional and bioactive microbially enriched fertilizers ( POIR.01.01.01-00-0124/20)

Project carried out by a consortium of: "BACTO - TECH" sp. z o.o. and P.U.H "Chemirol" sp. z o.o.

Implementation period: 2021-2023

Total value of the project: 3 414 038,01 PLN

Project co-funded by the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 measure 1.1/submeasure 1.1.1 , amount of funding: 1 927 491,91 PLN

The project concerned the development of precise, functional and bioactive microbiologically enriched fertilisers, which are expected to increase the efficiency of agricultural production, while reducing the use of fertilisers and their negative impact on the environment. The scope of work in the project carried out by Bacto-Tech included the acquisition of micro-organism strains with the desired functional characteristics, the development of an effective industrial technology for the production, separation and stabilisation of micro-organisms introduced into fertilisers, and the control of the viability of microorganisms introduced into fertilisers.

Pressure granulation technology using microorganisms and humic compounds Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 (POIR.01.01.02-00-0004/15)

Project leader: Grupa INCO SA

Implementation period: 2016-2018

The project concerned the acquisition of soil microorganisms, the development of conditions for their multiplication, separation, stabilisation and the establishment of technological conditions allowing them to be combined with fertiliser lime under high temperature conditions.

Scope of work carried out on the project by Bacto-Tech: Development of the final composition of the consortia, taking into account the interactions between the microorganisms in the consortia; Development and optimisation of methods for the culture of microorganisms, taking into account the composition and reaction of the medium, incubation temperature and aerobic conditions of the culture, at laboratory and semi-technical scale; Determination of optimum conditions for separation of cells from the culture fluid with maintenance of the greatest degree of cell recovery and the greatest cell viability; Evaluation of the effect of the addition of lignite and humic compounds on microbial survival; Determination of microbial survival in fertiliser lime - evaluation of the effect of granule moisture, drying temperature and method of application of microorganisms.
